Behold, what manner of love the father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God. I John 3:1

The efficacy of God’s love for man cannot be overemphasized.

“ when thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy one of Israel, thy savior. I gave Egypt for the ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honorable and I have loved thee………  (Ish. 43:2-4) the above scripture depicts the depth of God’s love for Israel.

This week lesson centered on the effect of God’s love for humanity.

God’s love through divine provision (Deut.28:1-14, Matt. 6:33)

God is love, where love is , there God is. Moses was trying to revealed to the Israelites the divine blessings attached to God’s love and what they enjoyed as a nation were  not on the basis of merit but all was the evidence of God’s love.  All the benefits believers  (Christians in Christ) enjoy today are centered on the basis of love.

Questions:

What are the evidence of God’s love through divine provision ?

Anything God does is centered on love. “ Since you were precious in my sight you have been honored, And I have loved you” (Ish. 43:4). There are lots of privileges attached to God’s love. For we to enjoy these privileges, we must be in His love. We must be born again. “ But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness , and all these things will be added to you.” Matt. 6:33

God’s love through divine protection. (Ish.37:33-36, Ish. 49:25)

The king of Assyria Sennacherib send his captain Rabshaken to king Hezekiah, the king of Judah to warn him; telling him that the Lord God whom they trusted will not be able to delivered Judah out of his hand.

Rabshaken listed all neighbouring countries which king of Assyria had destroyed and that their Gods was unable to delivered them. Hezekiah king of Judah took the letter  to the Lord in prayer, The Most High God sent an angel to the camp of the Assyria and smote one hundred and eighty five thousand armies in one night. God did that for his own sake and for His servant sake David. God is still doing the same for believers today. Protecting and preserving them until the day of rapture. God can go to any length to protect those whom He love for His own glory (Ish. 49:25)

The eternal glory of God’s love (I John 3:1, Rev. 19:6-9)

The end-product of grace (the proof of God’s love for humanity) is rapture. Rapture is a term that refer to the taking away of believers in Christ from the earth to meet the savior in the sky (heaven above).

This will take place at the last days. Those who are rapturable will be call to attend the marriage supper of the lamb in glory. Our salvation and His righteousness in us is our visa to attend the marriage supper of the Lamb in glory. The church is the lamb’s bride and only those who are in His love will be with Him in glory.
